Little Longer

I’m a currently a Senior Software Engineer in the Data Analytics at the Qatar Computing Research Institute. I’m a leading the engineering of Rayyan, the systematic reviews web and mobile app. I have more than 13 years of experience in software development across a diverse set of platforms. My current focus is on the architecture of large-scale web applications. I’m also an open source enthusiast and have numerous contributions on Github. Prior to QCRI, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar. I also worked as a software engineer in several start-ups and software houses in the awesome Alexandria, Egypt. I received a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology (2009) and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Alexandria University (2004).
